SAGE Ceramics, operated by SAGE Employment & Community services, provides employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. SAGE Employment & Community Services is a division of Easter Seals Blake Foundation, a non-profit agency providing services for individuals with developmental disabilities. SAGE Ceramics was established as a small business in which supported employees design and manufacture a variety of handcrafted ceramic gift items. SAGE introduced its first design in 1979- Twice Fired Chili Peppers -each crafted from molds of individual chili peppers. They became an instant success from which SAGE Ceramics has launched a variety of other southwestern styled items. These unique products can be found in many gift shops, boutiques and major department stores. SAGE's commitment to excellence and attention to detail has become the standard for this continuing series of unique gift items.

SAGE operates a gift boutique/gallery, SAGE Gifts & Gallery, located at 1010 N 5th Ave in Tucson, Arizona. In addition to the Tucson location, SAGE also has a satellite ceramic program in Safford, Arizona.
